Cabot’s takes the Health & Wellness of their team to the new heights

In 2021, Cabot’s launched an impressive Health & Wellness Program, focused on driving positive change around the Five pillars of Wellness; Physical, Emotional, Social, Occupational and Financial Wellness. In what was a highly challenging year, the Cabot’s shone through, focusing on staying connected as a business and community.

2022 will see the Cabot’s Health & Wellness Program continue to evolve to give team members even more support and resources to improve their overall health & wellbeing. The foundation of this program is built around a new Cabot’s Wellness Hub, developed in partnership with Health@Work, a leading provider of workplace wellbeing content and training. The Hub was unveiled to the Cabot’s Team in February, and offers Team Members access to quality resources including podcasts, webinars and weekly challenges across the Five Pillars of Wellness.

“The investment and commitment of our business to the wellness of our people demonstrates how seriously we take health and wellbeing,” explains Robyn Jones, Cabot’s Queensland State Sales Manager and leader of the Health & Wellness Team. “We know we can’t achieve our business ambitions without a healthy and well team. Investing in our people is one of the very best investments we can make – and I am proud to see us invest more than ever in this space.”

The Cabot’s Wellness Hub is jam packed full of relevant content, with monthly themes to enable Team Members to lead their own wellness path, based on their individual needs. Content is crafted around five key wellness themes; Growing your Mind, Health for Longevity, Community and Connecting, Living Resiliently and Financial Flexibility, delivered across a range of content types including live webinars, podcasts, virtual fitness classes and even simple hacks to drive change. A wonderful example of valuing and protecting our people.

Recognised amongst many high performing teams within the Cabot’s business, receiving the prestigious “Jack Feast & Percy Watson Teamwork Award” at the Cabot’s 2021 Awards Ceremony in February, the Health & Wellness team has been responsible for driving significant change in this space.

“We were extremely proud to build on the comprehensive program we delivered throughout 2021, which will only be bigger and better in 2022. This included Resilience Training, monthly Wellness newsletters, virtual “Friday Fun” connection meetings, 1 on 1 virtual coffee catch ups, and a range of other professional webinars focused on normalising Mental Health conversations and leading the wellbeing of others,” Paul Crout, Cabot’s South Australia State Sales Manager describes. “I am so proud of what our program has enabled individuals to achieve and respond to, in what has been a challenging few years. Wellness is truly integrated throughout the Cabot’s culture, our leadership and our people!”
